Fantastic place for laid-back travelers
I was really impressed by the warm and caring staff, they made you feel at home. The breakfast was amazing, not your average stuff, prepared fresh and with lots of choices from pastries to hot dishes.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but it was acceptable for what you get.

breakfast was lovely and had lots of choice. room was comfy and mostly quiet, staff were super helpful, and the decor is nice throughout the hotel.
The swimming pool was a bit small and the sauna could've been hotter. also, the changing rooms felt kinda outdated.

A fitting option for a quick stopover in Redruth with good value for the price. The spa had a lovely hot tub that was a nice touch after a long day. Consider exploring surrounding areas for more activities.

The room was okay but felt a bit outdated and cramped, especially with the bed too close to the radiator. It was clean but didn't seem like a four-star level. noise from the hallway was annoying, made it hard to relax. It had some good points like a small fridge and a TV, but not really a place you'd want to spend too much time in.

Everything was amazing, especially the tasty breakfast and the delicious homemade jam! The treatment I received at the spa was fantastic as well. Though the decor was not up to expectation, I’d still return anytime.

The Penventon Hotel charmed me with its historic atmosphere. The room was spacious, featuring a modern bathroom and comfortable bedding. The indoor pool provided a refreshing escape after a day of exploring. I loved the breakfast choices, especially the homemade jams that added a personal touch. The staff were attentive, making me feel welcome. the dining experience had some hiccups. There were issues with food orders, including a chicken dish that came out dry. The service in the restaurant felt overstretched during busy times, impacting the overall dining experience. I encountered a few cleanliness issues in common areas that stood out for a hotel of this caliber. The location was great for accessing local attractions, although I wish there were more dining options within walking distance.

I had a lovely three-night stay in a beautiful Superior Double Room that felt like a peaceful countryside escape, and I really enjoyed the relaxing massage at the spa. There’s also a nice heated swimming pool and a garden area for unwinding. The only slight downside was that the breakfast service was a bit slow, but overall, it was a great experience! 😊

A perfect getaway for anyone looking for quality service
The staff went out of their way to make it special for us, including a surprise champagne for my partner's birthday, we felt valued, not just guests. The food was exceptional, especially the birthday dinner where they even gave us a complimentary glass of Prosecco, it's these little touches that really make a difference.
Wasn't exactly budget-friendly but acceptable for the experience we had.

Comfy stay with a touch of charm
Had a lovely time in a cozy room with a super comfy mattress. The old wooden furniture gave the place a unique vibe. Breakfast was a treat with loads of options like full English and homemade jams. The spa was decent, but the jacuzzi was closed early, which was a bummer. Could use a little freshening up in some areas.

The room we stayed in was amazing, especially with the lovely garden access for our pups! We really enjoyed the spa's jacuzzi and took full advantage of the indoor pool. Just a heads-up, the evenings were a bit lively near our room, so maybe consider a quieter spot if you value peace. 😊
